Pastoral Care

At MBC we seek to show care and concern amongst those who worship with us, as we share Christian fellowship and try to reflect the love of Jesus to one another. Our Welcome Team offers an initial introduction to how we operate and, through our small group structure, strong relationships can be developed where support and encouragement can be given and confidences shared.  As a growing church with increasing needs, this aspect of ministry is being developed under the co-ordination of our minister, Steve Thomson.

Pastoral care team - this is a small team who seek to give more specific help when necessary.  All conversations are treated with complete confidentiality.

Meals team - providing meals for families with new babies, people just out of hospital or otherwise unable to cook for themselves

Visiting team - visiting people at home who are housebound or isolated for any reason

Transport team - providing transport to or from church, hospital/dentist/optician appointments etc.

Practical help team - offering help in various practical ways, eg. gardening, shopping, babysitting

Intercessory prayer team - responding, in confidence, to requests for prayer for specific needs

Please contact Steve Thomson (07891 004440) if you would like pastoral care.
