MBC Connect Groups
Connect Groups at MBC allow us to:
Connect to God
Connect to one another
Connect to our wider community
These groups are a reflection of Jesus and his discipleship, to equip and enable us to live out Christ’s calling on our lives every day – not just on Sundays.
All Connect Groups are different, varying in size, focus and frequency of meeting. Some focus on Bible study, prayer and accountability, whereas others might meet around a shared interest or with the aim of meeting a specific social need.
Whatever the focus, all groups are encouraged to develop their own rhythm so that group members draw closer to God, go deeper in their relationships with each other, and explore and engage in God’s mission.
So, if you want to join or start a group in your neighbourhood, a group that brings together a network of people with the same interest, or a group which is serving a specific need then please get in touch with Sarah or Jane.

To help long-term relationships to flourish by sharing time and food with other married couples .
Activities: If you’re in a long term marriage relationship or just got hitched, join us for a meal and feed your union—we meet on the first Sunday of the month. We’ve learnt marriage is a daily choice and, when it’s good, everyone benefits. By making time to have a conversation with a shared meal, we can encourage all our marriages to flourish, sharing what works.

Specially 4 You
S4U seeks to make church relevant and accessible to adults whose needs are special: levels of understanding are no barrier to knowing Jesus. S4U is a community, founded on the love of Jesus and our love for one another.
Activities: Sharing news and food; simple interactive service with lots of music and stories, finishing off with a craft session which reflects the theme of the day. We also have the occasional lunch together with our special guests at a pub and we have a monthly catch-up over supper with the core group.
TGIF (thank God it's Friday!)
We meet on Friday evenings or Saturday mornings, to grow together in faith and fellowship, and celebrate the start of the weekend! We meet in each other's homes around Stroud and Stonehouse and have a meal together before studying the Bible.
