A church with a mission
Pretty much everyone you meet thinks that Jesus Christ was a “a good man”. Some have a problem with the church, but they usually think that Jesus was a bit special. For us at MBC, a vital part of our mission is sharing that “special” Jesus and his love with other people.
At MBC we have people who have given up their “day job” and gone as full-time Christian workers, sharing Jesus’ love with people in other parts of the world. We have some who’ve taken gap years and done a similar thing. Others have gone abroad for a few months following retirement – and survived to tell the tale!
Others, still, remain in their “day jobs” and share Jesus and his love with men and women, young people and children here in our own community.
Jesus said, “Go to the people of all nations and make them my disciples…” Matthew 28:19. For us, that begins at Tetbury Street and, from there, reaches, north, east, south and west, throughout the world.
