Meet the Ministers
The Revd Liam Eaglestone has been MBC's minister since October 2007.
Liam began his pastoral work as youth minister and then associate minister at Gold Hill Baptist Church (www.goldhill.org), and before that studied at the London School of Theology (www.lst.ac.uk).
He is married to Kate and together they have four children - Billy, Jessie, Molly and Jack.
Liam's hobbies include snowboarding, playing football, rugby and golf - and supporting Liverpool Football Club. A little-known fact about Liam is that he can play the didgeridoo!
Kate's hobbies include meeting and talking with people, music, art and crafty things, and skiing.
Liam says: "I am thrilled about being the minister of the vibrant Christian community of MBC. Too often in our culture Christianity is portrayed as an irrelevant, out-of-touch, judgemental and pious religion. This is not what Jesus had in mind for his church, and not what we are seeking to be at MBC! We believe that, in following Jesus, we are able to know forgiveness, freedom and the very fullness of life. I’m passionate about MBC being a community where God’s love can be experienced in real and practical ways – I’d encourage you to come and join us if you are interested in finding out more!"
