Pastoral Care
At MBC we seek to show care and concern amongst those who worship with us, as we share Christian fellowship and try to reflect the love of Jesus to one another. Our Welcome Team offers an initial introduction to how we operate and through our small group structure, strong relationships can be developed where support and encouragement can be given and confidences shared. We also have a separate team who seek to give more specific help when necessary.
Pastoral Care Team
- This small group acts as a hub for all the pastoral care in the church and team-members use their various skills, experience and compassionate approach in offering help in special circumstances.
- Members of the team are committed to ongoing training in the area of pastoral skills.
- The group meets regularly to share and to pray for pastoral issues.
- Needs of any sort can be referred to the team who will seek to find ways of providing appropriate assistance and support.
All conversations are treated with complete confidentiality.
As a growing church with increasing needs, this aspect of ministry is being developed under the co-ordination of Sue Fairley.
