Pastoral Care

At MBC we seek to show care and concern amongst those who worship with us, as we share Christian fellowship and try to reflect the love of Jesus to one another. As a growing church with increasing needs, this aspect of ministry is being developed through two teams, with different roles, under the co-ordination of Sue Fairley.

Pastoral Team

This small group acts as a hub for all the pastoral care in the church and team-members use their various skills, experience and compassionate approach in offering help in special circumstances.
Members of the team are committed to ongoing training in the area of pastoral skills.
The group meets regularly to share and to pray for pastoral issues.

Pastoral Visitors Group

Members of this group are available to make visits to people who would like to talk to someone, pray with someone, may be isolated for some reason, are in hospital, need lifts to appointments, or require help in other practical ways.

All conversations are treated with complete confidentiality.
